Wake up time

Dear baby J,

Your new 6 am wake up time isn't working for either of us. Please take this early nap I laid you down for so I can take a shower and pluck my brows. You are a cranky, hot mess and as patient as I am, neither of us can deal. 8 am would be great, okay? Now, sleep my child, sleep.

Love,
Your frizzy haired mommy

Yes! But, Liam still doesn't sleep and he's 4. I'm not sure that getting kids and babies to sleep is what I'm best at as a parent. Ha

  • Ugh!

We've also had a new early wake up all week since she's been in her new bed.  I'm hoping DST fixes the issue!

  • Yeah I was hoping my kids wouldn't notice the time change and would sleep until their regular time - Looks like my little evil masterminds know to read the time because they were up bright and early this morning - much to the dismay of their bleary-eyed Mama.

Yeah, it's been hard. The 6 am was before I changed the clocks, and that's a good thing because if I saw 5 am on the clock I would have freaked out! haha

The boys took a late car nap on the way home from my parent's house today. I thought NBD because I knew DH was coming home at 6 today from a really really long shift. Well, DH was exhausted from going on runs all night and went to bed at 7. The boys were up until almost 10 (the new time). Oy.

Ouch. I hope they don't make a peep until at least 8 tomorrow morning.

Totally my fault, I let them snooze in the car for 45 minutes. I could have tried to keep them up. I even sat in the driveway, enjoying the peace, for a few minutes.
