1st Trimester

Still not

So I'm 8 weeks and 3 days with no nausea. Lucky? Yea, I would say so myself. I've heard that sometimes that means there is a problem with your baby or the growth? This is my first pregnancy so whatever I hear I pretty much go straight to the Internet for answers. I've also been looking pretty crappy lately all I want to do is lounge around, anybody else this tired?

Re: Still not

  • 30 weeks pregnant on tuesday and I have never had morning sickness or nausea. It doesn't mean anything is wrong with the baby, you just got lucky.

and I slept almost 20 hours today, being tired will never go away lol

  • I didn't have morning sickness either, the only thing I had severely in the first trimester was extreme exhaustion and I could smell gasoline from a mile away and hamburger. It was weird. Lol Some women get it and some don't. We're the lucky ones I guess.
  • I am also 8 weeks and still have yet to feel any nausea and there has definitely been no vomiting. I am, however, repelled by the smell of tuna and I never was before. I have also caught myself sleeping at my desk at work from the exhaustion. I am usually in bed no later than 830p and try to get at least 8 hours of sleep. If I get less, my day will be shot.

  • I didn't have ANY nausea ever during my first pregnancy. Don't worry about it, some ladies are just lucky! I'm tired this pregnancy, but not nearly as exhausted as I was the first time around. It's all normal and pregnancy symptoms vary a lot, so try not to compare yourself with everyone else.
  • Step away from Dr Google.

That's an old wives tale. and its not true. My Sister (now 28) and I (now 26) were puke and nausea free pregnancies. I can always update you after my Tuesday appointment... I'm puke and (almost) nausea free and 13 weeks :)

  • I have not had m/s (maybe few bouts of nausea but thats about it) and I am in week 12 with a healthy LO :). Symptoms come and go and are different for everyone so try not to worry (hard I know!!)
  • My nausea kicked in at 7 weeks and left at 8 weeks. It comes and goes now, but that one week was awful.

  • I'm also very tired.  We just moved and my mom's here unpacking for me 'cause it's that bad right now.  I also have had no nausea.  I do, however, get sort of a spinny, fog brain feeling if I eat something my body doesn't want.  That's how I knew I couldn't drink coffee or tea anymore.  Also, that happens if I eat Nutella.  No barf feelings yet, though.  Not everyone gets it... and I really don't think it means something's wrong.
