Water Break or Mucus Plug

Today I thought I lost my mucus plug, but this was HOURS ago. Now my panties still get soaked quickly and it's slimy. There was no red or brown with it. So I'm not sure if my water broke or if it is my mucus plug. It's been going on now for about 6 hours. I've changed panties 3 times, and have been through quite a few pads.

    My mp was a thick discharge. I wiped it off and it was gone, it wasn't soaking my panties. I'd think your situation is something more.

    You might call if your discharge is that much. When my sister called the nurse line because she thought her water broke, they told her if it soaks a good size pad in two hours, it is most likely your water. Hope that helps!

    Call your doctor or go to labor and delivery. That sounds like too much to be your mucus plug. I'd have to guess its your water!
