Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Not sttn?

I know all babies are different but am I the only one whose 4 month old has yet to sttn? It seems as though everyone is writing that their lo is...
We are currently transitioning from rnp to crib but nothing works. He is is still up every three to four hours for paci or bottle. A little support is all I need to here :

Re: Not sttn?

  • You are in the majority, believe me.  4 months is incredibly young to STTN, though some babies do.  If you got a truthful poll from a varied group, you'd find that more parents have kids not STTN for many more months than those that have great sleepers now at 4 months.

  • nope! My guy is still waking anywhere from 1-3x a night...I'm hoping that he's STTN soon but trying to follow his lead as much as I can.

  • no, not sttn. On good nights he's up once... but much more often twice.  We are still in RNP and we are dreading trying to transition him.
  • No, he is 6mths and getting up 1-2 times a night to eat Q.Q

  • Our LO is 3 months and does not STTN. He's still eating every 2night hours so we're lucky of we get a 4 or 5 hour stretch once a night.
  • My 4.5month has no idea what STTN means because he wakes up 2-3x/night.

  • DD will be 4 months on Tuesday. Though she has STTN before, for the most part she doesn't. She usually sleeps 9-2, 2-5, 5-7 which I think is pretty normal... unfortunately.

This is us, almost exactly. Our LO STTN for almost a month and now she's up at least twice a night. She just needs to eat, I guess!
