Twins in Co-Sleeper?

We picked up an Arms-Reach Co-Sleeper Mini not quite realizing what it was, but considering whether it could be used with the twins brought up an unknown for us-

What or when is it a bad idea to put the twins together?  Meaning can they share a crib or sleeper meant for one, and if so how long?  What is "too small" for two?

Also we would be curious to hear what any other moms of twins did for co-sleeping arrangements.

    I'm inexperienced, but since no one has responded I thought I'd throw you a bone and respond... :)   I'm going to do it.  We have a Arms Reach Co Sleeper Original ready to go.  I wanted the larger one for max size/weight limitation.  After we reach the weight limit we'll probably be sidecar-ing one of our Ikea cribs if we still want to cosleep/roomshare - which it's looking like we will.  There is a lot of evidence that newborn twins do well when cobedding - you can find many articles on the topic by Google-ing it.    Good luck to you!

    If you are planning to swaddle I could see them sharing the Cosleeper until about three months, and I'm just guessing based off of DS's size and we use one.

    I only have one baby, so I don't know how it would work for twins, FWIW. The mini is pretty small, but it would probably work for a few months at least, especially if you swaddle. 

    If your room will accommodate the full size, you may appreciate it more than the mini.

    Thanks so much for your input.  I agree with you all that twins are going to outgrow the mini very quickly.

    We picked this up at a consignment sale and it was zip-tied, locked shut in the carry bag so we did not know it was so small.  Nor did we notice until we got it home that the strap that attaches it to the bed is missing.  So frustrating!  I got in contact with the mom who sold it and she said she never used the strap; didn't even know it was supposed to have one.  I was surprised by that since she included the instructions on how to assemble and use the product.

    Instead of spending another $20 plus shipping to get the missing bed attachment we have decided to keep our eyes peeled for the larger model; it is recommended for twins.
