My neighbor asked my opinion on getting her 4 month old sons ears pierced. Shows how old or out of the loop I am, but it never occured to me to pierce a baby boys ears. I think it's a moms choice, that's what I told her and I honestly believe it is. I don't think it would be my personal choice. Like I said it never occured to me. Thoughts? Figured it's a good topic of conversation and I'm curios to see how common it is.

Re: infant boy ear piercing?
let her know that even if he is in all blue and wearing a sign that reads "I'm a BOY", strangers will always comment on him being a little girl. If she wants to ignore these comments or defend each one then tell her to go for it.
(I wouldn't do it, but i also wouldn't pierce ears if i had a little girl)
This is my own thoughts regarding my own child, but moms are gonna do what they want, so I told her its her own choice as a mom. I didn't want to come off judgy or rude since I am old and don't know what the trend is with that these days. She's 21 I'm 35....there's a big difference in our styles naturally.
I wouldn't, but I wouldn't pierce a baby girl's either.
I could care less if other people's babies have pierced ears, boy or girl.
lol this - love it
Most things I believe are "to each his own" but this is a no-no in my book.
I saw a little boy with pierced ears recently and call me judgey mcjudgerson since I was definitely side eyeing the parents!
She should let her LO choose to pierce when he is old enough to decide on his own.
