Exchanging Diapers

DD seems to have went through a growth spurt recently.  I have 2 unopened boxes of size 2's that are almost too small for her.  Took them to Target to exchange them today for a bigger size (same brand) and they said they don't think I can without the receipt. CRAP! i don't have it! They didn't have any in the bigger size anyways so I brought the same ones back home.  Sad I also have some Huggies I bought while pregnant I wanted to exchange for Luvs (DD always leaks out of huggies) Yea can't do that either because it was over 90days ago. I even have the receipt.

There is really no point to this post I'm just somewhat annoyed (with myself for throwing the recepit away and not paying attention to the return policy)

    My target took back some unopened Luvs that I had bought without a receipt and gave me store credit.   However, Target only lets you take back either a certain dollar amount or a certain # of times returning things without a receipt.

    Could you try taking them back somewhere else like Wal-mart or CVS?

    Check other stores and make sure they sell that size/count of diapers. I returned some to target w/o receipts until I hit the cap on returning w/o receipts.

    I would try another Target! My store also takes returns without receipts. You just have to show an ID (you're allotted X amount per year), and they gave me a store credit.

    Good idea.  I'll try walmart. I know they sell luvs. 

     I'm going to try and sell my Huggies to a friend (for what or even less than I paid since I have the receipt) that has a baby about the same age as DD. if not I guess we will be using them!

     Oh can I add Target had the exact same count of Luvs in size 3 and still wouldn't do an even exchange! I wonder if this lady just wanted to be a PITA.

    If you bought them on a card, they should be able to look it up without a receipt. I have done that myself (doesnt have to be a Target card either). Or like PP said try Wal-Mart, they'll return anything.

    I did this as well and also had my mom and DH return some as well.
