Friday the 13th!!

Ok so I had my very first ultrasound yesterday, which was adapting one.
She dated me at 13wks which threw me off a little because I'm used to counting every teusday as another week started! So when I went in, I knew I was 12w3d.
Now I'm confused if I should start counting every Friday? Which would put me at 14wks!!
I just feel like its going too fast as I'm already at the start of second tri?!

She also give me a due date of......
FRIDAY September 13TH!!!
Haha I've always referred to DO as my little monster monkey soo I thought it was quite funny then!
... Should I be worried or am I just being silly?!!

Ps. Sorry it's long. Needed a 4am vent!

    If she said you are 13 weeks as of Friday, start counting every Friday as another week along. My "weekly milestone" used to be on a Friday and then my doc changed my edd from 9/20 to 9/15 so its every Sunday.

    Also, I am superstitious to a point but I try not to do things on Friday the 13. Its completely silly and irrational but its a fear of mine. BUT I will say that I have many great things happen on those days as well. Be positive, whats the worst that can happen?

    I am due Friday the 13th we are doomed.

    Just kidding! 13 was my athletic jersey number for 20 years so I took it as a good thing. Plus the odds of going exactly on the 13th are slim.

    My sister's birthday is march 13th and she always loved when her birthday fell on Friday the 13th. I'm due on Sept 11 and was thinking of scheduling my csection for the 13th.

    Chances are you won't deliver on your due date anyway but if you do, I think it would be fine.

    I'm also due on Fri Sep 13th and I'm 13 weeks, not 14 weeks. We are due date buddies!

    13 is a lucky number in the Italian culture... but it's just a number, so if you don't make it mean anything, then it doesn't.  And how many babies are really born on their due dates?

    Sorry ladies I was away all day yesterday so I couldn't reply :
    But wow I have a lot of Friday the 13th buddies!! We were busy on Christmas :p
    The more BF and I think about it , the more we think its pretty cool. But like most of you said.. How many do actually come on their EDD.
    I'm just happy to actually have gotten to see and hear my little monkey!
    Still hoping its a boy though but a happy and healthy baby will be all we can ask for.
