First birthday gifts

What are you getting? I just bought our gifts for Elliot. We got him a cozy coupe, a M&D happy giddy tunnel, a blue kid o go car, and boon bath bubbles and a Pewi Ybike. I didn't want to spend more than $150 and it ended up being around $130 so I'm pretty pleased. =)

    I want to get lots of outside toys . I live in Nebraska and we are stuck in the house all winter.

    I know what you mean. I feel so cooped up! I have a lot of outdoor stuff on his wish list, I also have some big playroom things on there to.

    So far I've only asked the grandparents to get things. One is getting him his own little comfy chair from pottery barn kids and the other is getting a George the giraffe rocker!
    I'll have to look into all the things you mentioned and I def. Want some outside things!

    July 2019 - Diagnosed with Secondary Unexplained IF
    August 2019 - 2.5 mg of Letrozole = Never Ovulated so Trigger and IUI were cancelled
    9/30/2019 - IUI #1 (5 mg of Letrozole + Trigger) =  BFP but Betas showed CP @ 4 weeks
    10/28/2019 - IUI #2 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN
    11/25/2019 - IUI #3 (7.5mg of Letrozole, Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    12/24/2019 - IUI #4 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    1/24/2020 - IUI #5 (50mg of Clomid + Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN and an Ovarian Cyst
    3/2/2020 - Taking a break to reset/NTNP
    11/1/2020 - At peace with where things are in life and are no long actively TTC. Whatever happens will happen and it will all be okay. <3

    DS got a pottery barn chair for Christmas and he loves it! I was totally thinking it would just sit around the house, un-used until he got bigger, but he's already learned to climb up into it. His is denim and has his name on it. It looks super cute next to Daddy's chair :)

    You've already bought his toys... OMG! This makes me feel so far behind. We are moving to another state next month and I have thought of nothing but moving... I don't even know what we're going to do about his birthday, let alone presents!!! Thanks for the ideas though, you've got some cool stuff :)

    And I love the name Elliot btw, super cute!

    It's so hard for me to decide gifts because our other daughter is 3 years old so we already have so much crap that Hannah just plays with anyways. Maybe I'll just stick a bow on my daughter's hand me down cozy coup. Would that be tacky? It's currently in the basement so all I would have to do is clean it up and not get it out until her birthday.

    He'll get one of these ride on toys - https://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3230457 We got each of the older boys one for their 1st bday and they still use them. They are inside and on days when we can't go outside we do a race track inside. They love it. 

    Definitely recommend the PBK chairs. My boys even ds3 have one and they get used all the time. My big boys will read in them or lounge in them to watch a movie. They love their chairs.

    my mom has been itching to buy Jack a Pottery Barn chair. I have a feeling we may get one soon!

    I can't decide either! I think I'll select a few options and have dh pick!

    Probably a chair to match DS's, not PBK though because I think they're overpriced and overrated, and maybe a water table or wagon. We might get the wagon for Easter though since it'll really be for both kids.

    How did our LO's grow up so fast?! The fact we're discussing first birthday makes me tear up :( haha

    Disney movies! -- We only have a few as of now, so I wanted to buy her alot of the 'classics' and some of the newer ones. I WILL NOT buy more toys, so I thought this would be a good alternative and something that will be nice to have for the future as well. I think my parents will get her the cozy coupe so that's checked off the list :)

    We will probably just do some clothing or shoes that she needs already.  We didn't really get DD#1 anything.  With all the gifts from family and friends, it seems silly to spend a lot of money.  Plus, this time around we have everything we need already.
