It's Baby Time!

After my second doctor's appointment this week, I was sent to labor and delivery to begin cervadil tonight and pitocin tomorrow! I'm being induced because of the expected size of the baby and some blood pressure issues I've been having.

I got to the hospital at about 7 tonight and started the cervadil around 8. It's now 4am. I'm definitely contracting, which is great because for the past two weeks I've only been 60% effaced. Doc and I are hoping I'll be 1-2 cm by 8am tomorrow morning.

So, the plan is to start me on pitocin around 9am and monitor my progression. If my body doesn't cooperate, I'll have the option of a c-section. Either way...I'm REALLY hoping to meet my baby boy tomorrow (and tomorrow is my actual due date!)!
