Maya Wrap RS and Ellaroo wrap?

I'm looking into buying these for my 5 month old. I have an Ergo that I use daily but I'm wanting to expand my collection. Do you think these are good choices or do you have any advice on others to research? He's a big boy at just over 28 inches and 20 pounds. Will these both be usable for a while with my monster baby?

For mobile users, I'm asking about a Maya Wrap RS and Ellaroo wrap.

    I love the principal of he Maya Wrap (haven't tried Ellaroo) but my 6 mo straightens his legs too often for it to be worth it. I'd have to adjust it every time he straightened his legs unless he was asleep. I even sought advice from my baby wearing group and they said it may not be ideal for a leg straightener. Something to think about.
