  Look up pelvic rest. That is the clinical term for no sex.

  hi there I am six weeks pregnant and also have a retroverted uterus but my doctor said sex was fine as long as I was feeling up to it, she didn't put no restrictions on sex. That's the first I have heard of it. She said as long as I feel comfortable well having sex that it was ok. Good luck and let me know if you hear anything otherwise.

And have researched and googled and have not found a single thing saying not to have sex. Please help!

  If your doctor said no, then the answer is no. It's only 3 weeks, and Google is not your doctor. I don't know why you're looking for other opinions on it? It's not like it's something where you have to make a serious decision and need to research it.

  Unless the doc found something else on the u/s like a subchorionic hemorrhage for example then there is no need to be on pelvic rest of a tipped ute. My ute has been tipped for all of my pregnancies and the only time I was told pelvic rest was when the SCH was found.

  If your doctor said to abstain then don't have sex. Its not something that is really up for debate.

  I agree with this. Too many times people try to make decisions based on google. If you don't trust what your doctor says, then you need to find another doctor.

  Hang in there! I know it feels like forever, but it's only 3 more weeks! If you are having a really difficult time with it or feel like there is no reason for you to be on pelvic rest, call your Dr. and ask what the reason for the pelvic rest is and if there were a possibility that you would be fine with taking it slow or anything. Also, "no sex" restrictions are different for many situations. Ask your Dr. what specifically is off limits. Ask if you can still orgasm (there are other ways to get it done than through penetration ), or if you can have sex but can't have orgasms, etc.

  I cant believe you cant wait get to 12 week not having sex. Ofcourse i love to have sex but if my doctor say i cant 9 mounth,im not gonna google it or asking people here. Our baby is the first right now and no way i risk it for anything.

  Tilted uterus, previous miscarriage. Doc hasn't put me on pelvic rest yet, but to answer your question, pelvic rest means no sex and usually that includes no orgasms.
