Baby girl bangs?

Totally random question ... My daughter's had bangs that we are trying to grow out but I'm dying to cut them to get them out of her eyes. Do your little girls have bangs? I'm tired of having to always put her growing put bangs in a top of the head pony tail and tempted to keep them short ...

Re: Baby girl bangs?

  • yes and I love their bangs.  They do have to get their hair cut more often but I love short hair and bangs for this age group.  Works out really well.  If eventually they want to grow them out, thats fine.

  • My LO has bangs, and it kind of happened on accident. I finally decided it's time to let those suckers grow, and it's been hard not to chop them off, because when she gets them out of her hair clip, she looks like Cousin It. But, it's been growing fast, so I am going to just deal with it. I use bobby pins, hair clips and headbands to keep them out of her face to help mix it up so she doesn't look like Pebbles with the top of the head pony.

  • Both of my girls have bangs. I cut them as soon as their hair started falling in their eyes (9-10 month). I think both look cute with bangs. I'll keep cutting them until they're old enough to make their own decisions about their hair.

  • I didn't want bangs for my 2yo so I'm awkwardly waiting for her hair to grow long enough to be out of her face now.  I usually deep side part her hair and then do the forehead pony tail off to the side so it's ever-so-slightly more chic than the unicorn look.  Sometimes if I feel like putting in effort I'll do 2 or 3 bands that pull into into each other so it doesn't stick out and instead lies flatter against the side of her head.

  • I love bangs and have them myself.  I've not cut any for E yet because her hair is so so thin still and I think the part that would be "bangs" really belongs in the back (she's got shorter hair growing in in the front that I'll keep short).
