Slim convertible seat?

Besides the radian - with the angle it wouldn't fit in center rear seat. I have a britax marathon but its really bulky and we generally offer to drive when we have company because of LO's seat. DH is ready to trade in the Rogue for a minivan because he always gets stuffed in the back and whines about not being able to move. Is there any other seat out there that is narrower?

Re: Slim convertible seat?

  • I think the radian and clek foonf are the narrowest convertible car seats at 17 inches.

  • The Graco MySize70 / Size4Me / Headwise is just a little wider than the Radian.

  • The clek foonf and graco size4me are narrow as well. Also, have you tried the angle adjuster with the radian? That would likely allow it to fit in your car.

  • The graco size4me, headwise, mysize, are 18.5 inches wide. The chicco nextfit is 19 inches. Perhaps one of these will fit better.
  • I don't think you'll get slimmer than the Radian or Foonf. Both are marketed for fitting 3 across. Behind the passenger  is a safe spot for the convertible seat, most won't fit in the middle regardless of the seat or car while RF.

Ugh... I have a mysize (and hate it) and same problem... good to know the radian wouldn't have saved me much. Ah well... DH will just have to suck it up.
