Miscarried this morning.

I am 40. Surprise pregnancy. I had a feeling the spotting wasn't quite normal when it began 4 days ago. went to ER on Wed and they said my hgc levels were 9900 - in line w/ being 6 wks preg. Ultrasound showed 6 weeks but they couldn't really make the fetus out.

They did the internal exam and the internal ultrasound, I wasn't comfortable w/ that because I was afraid it could cause more bleeding. It did.

This am (2 days after the ER) I woke up at 430am with serious cramping. By 730 am, I passed a large kidney looking clot that had a small sac. Sorry for the graphic info but just sharing in case others are bleeding or going through anything similar (I pray no one else here does).

I am assuming it will take a bit for my hormone levels to decrease back to normal. I let dr's know and have an appointment for 2 weeks from now to ensure everything has been passed.
