How did LO react to their first food

We tried rice cereal for the first time LO was not impressed.  I saw her grimmace for the first time.  Fortunately, she didn't spit it out but she didn't like it.  I was only able to get about 3 spoonfuls in and then she said enough.  Honestly, I didn't care for it either.  Yes, I tasted it after she was done.  Gross!

    My LO didn't like baby oatmeal. He made a horrible face and ate only a few bites. After trying twice, I switched to veggies. He ate them up like a champ. He will eat most veggies but doesn't really like fruit. He has been eating solids for about 1.5 months now.

    DD has only had apples thus far and cries when the container is empty.

    Babies have to have something so many times before they have a true like or dislike for it. I personally think the rice cereal is gross too, but I've been using it in my DS's bottle for about a week now. I think I'm going to stop though; he keeps throwing it up.

    O didn't like it when I made it the first time, but gobbled it up at daycare. Once I tried it how they prepare it, he eats it right up. They do 2 Tbsp cereal, 1/2 scoop formula, and 2 or 3 Tbsp water.

    My DS ate the rice and seemed to like it okay. What he loves his oatmeal. He did not like barley.

    My lo doesn't like any of it unless it's mixed with fruit and our bm... Then she loves anything

    DS2 did not like rice cereal. We tried it a couple of times and finally just decided to put some in his bottles every now and then. As far as other solids go, we followed what our pediatrician said to do and started with orange veggies, then moved on to green veggies. We just started on fruits and began with bananas. I actually think DS2 likes the veggies more than the bananas.
