Re: Open Letter Thursday

  • Dear Speech therapy department,

We have been waiting for a therapist to have a weekly availability that fits our already busy schedule for one month now. I don't mind waiting. Trust me I am in no hurry to add one more appointment each week. That said,  please don't call me again until you know for sure there is a time for us to come every week. If you call with a random cancellation for only a specific day again, I will probably scream. Consider yourself warned.

  • Dear Life,

    I am overwhelmed. =(

  • DS,

We had a blast this morning when Home Depot came to our school. I got to observe you and turtle at Preschool, too.

I am sorry that I had to leave you at daycare and go to work. It broke my heart when you ran out of the daycare classroom crying mommy before I left. I hope you have a good afternoon playing with your friends and teachers.

    I love you!

    Mommy

    DH,

Get over it! We got DS a full size bed and he is going to grow! A car bed is a short term investment.

    Think economical!

  • Dear stomach virus,

li don't know who invited you to come home with LA for a "play date," but you need to leave.  NOW!  You have shared yourself with three of us now.  You had best stay away from our littlest one--don't make me go all momma bear on you (cause truth be told, I am too sick and too tired to fight you).  Just leave and don't come back.

    Signed,

    JL who is NOT happy!

  • I've been gone for a while, but this is perfect for today!

    Dear lady in the store,

Yes, my DD is 30 lbs and two years old and very heavy to carry.  NO she cannot walk, how exactly would you like for me to transport her through the store on a quick run in and out trip???  Would you like for me to put her down and let her roll through the store?  It is not for lack of trying that she cannot walk and NO she is not not walking because she is spoiled and we carry her too much!  Please mind your own damn buisness, thank you!!!

     Sincerely,

    A very aggrivated mother

  • Dear Me,

Good job for calling EI about your concerns over DD's speech and not continuing to put it off in the hopes that it will get better.

    You're Awesome.

    Also Dear Me,

Stop feeling guilty that you didn't do the same thing for DS when he was still in the EI age range. Yes people told you that intense.fear.of.everything was probably not normal, but you were in denial land and there's nothing that can come from guilt now.

    Still awesome.
