No more naps

When does the nap go away.
My dd still needs a map she acts wild when she does not have it most days. Recently she has stopped sleeping some days, and other days she will fight me on going. She is 3.5

    My experience working at daycares is that between 3 and 4 a lot of kids begin to give up naps.  So instead they had 'quiet time' during their normal naptime.  You can decide what that entails, we usually let the kids take two or three books to bed with them and they could read to themselves.  Half the time they fell asleep.

    How long are naps when they happen?  I would try to make quiet time just as long.  At the daycare naptime/quiet time was 2 hours each day.  Most kids lasted 1 1/2 hours before getting restless so they were usually allowed to sit at the table and color until the rest of the children were waking up.
