what did you do with left over tests

what did you do with your left over UNused OPKs and HPTs?

I have like tons of OPKs. I hate to see it sit here and be wasted and get expired. but I don't know anyone who is TTC at work or family. and I can't be assuming like "hey you've been married and so far no kids, here's some OPKs"

I thought about posting on TTC board but these are so cheap (wondfo) and who would trust to give away their home address to strangers on internet for something worth like $10-15. And also don't know how such posting will be received in TTC even though I'm not trying to make anyone feel bad, I just don't like wasting things.

Anyway, what did you do with your left over tests? toss them, used them anyway, test your DH and pets for fun?

i kept them because you never know if youll need them again, or mail them to ttgp ladies

I actually kept my opks because I knew we'd be TTC again before they expired. Plus I like to test every once in awhile while breastfeeding before I get my first cycle because I don't take birth control while breastfeeding. If I felt like something was going on I would test. I actually caught my surge before my first cycle started. Maybe try the Swap Spot board?

The girls on TTGP would love to have them.

The digital I used this morning was actually mailed to me by a TTGP grad. Once I'm pretty sure this one will stick I'll send them to someone on TTGP.

Ours would expire before we would TTC again. My sister works at a daycare and a lot of the workers have pregnancy scares there. So I offered our unused leftovers to her work ladies. Could always do a fb status and say to pm you, even though that's a bit tacky. Do Ob office's accept them?

Thanks ladies. I will wait it out until the first md appt (which is like week 10) then send them out to ttgp. I only have a handful of hot but I have like 80 opks... And happy Friday everyone !

You can always donate them to your local planned parenthood or whatever free clinic there is near you. I'm sure they'd like the freebees and depending on the cost of the kits, you can probably get a tax receipt.

I pee on them every now and then. OPKs work as PG tests once you have enough HCG so I like seeing it stay dark!

I kept some of my OPKs in case things don't work out this time around and I need them again (we want one bio child). The rest I gave to someone who I knew was TTC and we were talking about the benefits of charting and OPKs.

I peed on all the pregnancy tests (to be fair, i only had a handful).

You could see if a women's shelter or low-cost clinic could use the pregnancy tests.

And i'm lazy and didn't read previous posts. Sorry if this is redundant.

I had just bought 25 wondfos off of amazon and the first one I took came up BFP. lol! So I still have quite a few left! I also don't know anyone who is TTGP so I might head over to that board after first tri and see who wants them.
