Dear Maternity Clothing....

You are not what I expected you to be. You promised comfort and support but all you have done is point out my flaws, especially the weight gained on my hips and thighs. How could you be so insensitive? Would it kill you to come in more solid colors instead of all these unflattering horizontal stripes and floral prints??

Not only do you mock my appearance, you have also become a financial burden, I just can't do this anymore.

I can't wait to leave you....until I get knocked up again, I'm sure I'll just go crawling right back. Damn you and your elastic waistband.

    I have noticed that the elastic from some of my pants are stretched out from the last time I wore them but refuse to spend the money and get new ones since I don't plan on being preggo again after this. I completely agree that stripes and floral prints should be outlawed!!

    Agreed! Everything fit until about 2 weeks ago. Now I feel like a fat guy in a little coat trying to get into my maternity jeans.  Maybe it's a blessing that I can sit around in sweats all day and only have to get dressed once a week. LOL!

    I couldn't agree more.  I find maternity clothing to be hideous and uncomfortable. I wish I could wear yoga pants and DH t-shirts to work everyday...  :(  No advice, just commiserating.
