Hmph.
DS is still not "well". He's better, but far from "healthy". Still super congested.. his cough is still pretty bad, but the wheezing has improved! We're only giving him the nebulizer 3 times a day instead of 5, because he's going longer stretches of being "wheeze free".. so, that's good. He's also done much better with taking his bottles -- yesterday he took all but his bedtime bottle.. and, so far this morning, he chugged his morning bottle, so again I"m hoping this means he's starting to feel better!
But, and I'm going to assume this is teething related.. he's still not sleeping consistently! He'll have a day or 2 (Tues and Wed), where he did NOTHING but sleep practically.. and then he'll have a night like last night, where he was up NO LIE every 20-30 minutes.. and, though he was sleep trained fairly young, I absolutely can't let him cry right now because even getting the slightest bit worked up means he lands himself in a coughing frenzy which then results in wheezing. So, that means Mommy had very little sleep, too. Thankfully, he was pretty okay if I just talked to him through the monitor, without having to keep getting up.. but, still.. very tired Momma.
And, we've shared germs. Which I knew was going to happen, and honestly I didn't care because he needed the snuggles, and I wasn't at all worried about me in the moment. So, now I can 100% empathize with how awful this cold is, as I'm just getting it, too.. but this sleep deprived .. pregnant.. and sick Momma who has spent the past week worrying every second about her sick DS is just.. exhausted.
And, it's snowing. TODAY. Not Wednesday like predicted. Not Thursday like predicted. TODAY. FRIDAY. Ugh. I really wish I had gone into meteorology.. great salary, and no pressure to be "correct"!
At least I have my anatomy scan this morning! If you've got some spare T&Ps to send my way, we'd appreciate it! Hoping all will look great! And, it's Friday.. so, any of you non-KU PALers who are having yourselves a Friday cocktail later -- have one for me!! Pom martini or perhaps a nice glass of chilled merlot would be fabulous (yup -- I drink my red wine chilled!!).
Thanks for letting me rant

My Blog
Thanks guys -- A/S went well.. they couldn't see little boy's heart as good as they would have liked so they have us coming back in a week to check again. The doctor said she doesn't see anything "wrong" just couldn't see everything she wanted, so she just wants to get more pictures and to be sure all is well.
Andplusalso.. we took DS to my parents to watch him while DH and I went to the scan.. when I picked him up, my sister (who has 2 kids) was telling me she thinks DS has hand foot mouth, and that's why he's had erratic fevers.. but, idk, I don't think so. He has a couple of "red" splotchy patches on the outside of his foot and then on the palm of his hand.. but, I don't see any spots.. and, I'm not really sure.. his hands/feet may always just be red like that? I've never really paid that close of attention...
Anyway.. thanks for all the T&Ps and the hugs for the rough week!! Hoping this weekend heals us all!!
