Eating a lot less?

DD is 10 months and all of the sudden started eating a lot less, both bottle (FF) and solids.  She usually took about 30-35 oz a day, and now it is more like 20-25 and she is refusing almost all solids except for a few bites here and there.  I wonder if it could be teething? Has anyone else experienced this?

Re: Eating a lot less?

  • When DS is teething or sick he eats a lot less.  I wouldn't worry too much about it.

  • it's a phase we went through too... it will pass and if it lasts more than a few weeks then talk to dr but it will pass and it will happen again closer to 1 year...  they are too busy learning to want to stop and eat and drinking is much easier and faster it seems.

Happening with DD now.  Sometimes she'll be in the mood, other times she gets fussy.  Can't tell if it's her teeth or if she's tired and doesn't want anything to do with food.  She has been sleeping a lot the past two days (hello 4 hr naps!) so I'm chalking it up to a combination of growth spurt/teething.  Same time?  Perhaps!
