Sucky stage for those who work outside of the home

Ds is 15 weeks old and I feel like I never see him. He falls asleep within 30 minutes of getting home from daycare. He sleeps til at least 4am but lately more like 6 so I wake him up and drop him at daycare. I'm going to have to hold him while he sleeps just so I can get cuddle time with him. It makes me sad although I am incredibly thankful he is a good sleeper. I just wish I got more quality time with him. I remember this stage with my dd so I know it passes.

    I hold K most of the time while she naps too just to get some cuddle time. I know I could run the risk of starting a "habit" but I guess I'm not too concerned with it now. I feel like once K hit about the 8 week mark and I went back to work that time is going by even faster and everytime I blink my eyes she is doing something new that amazes me. Oh how I love that lil' girl! I'm definitely thinking as soon as she hits that 1 yr mark I'll be ready for another one!

    I know. Some days I only get to see R for 2 hours. I get home from work at 5:45, and he is usually asleep by 6:30. I wish he would stay up just a little later. I am glad he is a good sleeper, but I miss him like crazy.

    That sucks!! this is why I could never do daycare!! I'd be a horrible mess. SO and I work alternating shifts and I only work about 4 evenings a week for about 6 to 8 hours. And the whole time I'm there I have separation anxiety. And then I wake her up when I get home!!

    Yeah, Daddy gets to play with him first and then I get to put him to sleep and I sit and hold him till we go to bed. He's been falling asleep at 8 these days and sleeping till about 5:30. We go to bed between 10 and 11 most nights.
