I thought 2nd pregnancy would be easy. So far - BFN...

How did you successfully get a BFP?  We "did it" every other day or so this month...I don't think we can do that this month!  Maybe twice/week.  We have a 3 year old and would really like another one.  Any tips would be great. Thanks!

P.S. AF started last evening.

    Read the blog.  Lots of tips there for narrowing down your FW.  Also, don't act impatient.  You've just started.

    Buy a thermometer, set your alarm and take your temp each morning. Plug that number into your Fertility Friend account. It's not hard and will help you narrow down when you O, if not detect it successfully. Have sex around that time. The end.

    Go on youtube and watch the great sperm race. Read the newbie thread and check out the ttgp blog.
    TTC#2 Since July 2011
    Me: 29, had two blocked tubes - left was cleared during lap, right was unable to be cleared. PCOS & Stage 2 Endo. DH: 32, SA = perfect
    CLOMID: 4 rounds, 50mg + TI = BFN's. FEMARA: 1 round = no response
    12-24-2012 : Laparoscopy, Softball sized cyst/endo/scar tissue removed.
    Cycle #14 - Feb 2013 : 50mg clomid. Ovidrel Trigger. IUI on 2/14/13 = thin lining, multiple cysts.
    Cycle #15 - no meds, still have cysts, no follicles. Boo!
    Forced break. Continuous BCP for 6 weeks to give my jacked up ovaries a break.
    Cycle #16 actively trying (May/June): Femara, TI = BFN
    Cycle #17- #20 - Med/Treatment break, trying on our own = BFN's all around.
    Cycle #21 - Femara, MORE Femara, Ovidrel and a Christmas IUI = BFN
    MY BLOG -- About DD, TTC and everything in between!

    Seriously? Such an unnecessary comment. Pregnancy doesn't happen overnight. It would be nice if it worked that way Hmm

    Me: 32 DH: 31.
    B/W: good. SA: good.
    November 2012: Paratubal cyst found during U/S.
    January 10, 2013: Lap removed paratubal cyst and Stage 2 Endometriosis. 
    3 cycles of Femara + TI = BFNs

    June 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 37.5 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFN

    July 2013: Femara 2.5 mg, Gonal F Injects 75 IU, Menopur, trigger + IUI = BFP!!!!

    Beta 1 @ 11 DPIUI = 76. Progesterone = 27.3

    BFP 8/16/2013 // EDD 4/28/2014

    Jordan Samuel born April 19, 2014. 6 lb, 12 oz and 18 inches long.

    Just out of curiosity...how long did it take you all the first time around?



     

    bfp 1 - m/c 1.31.11 @ 10 weeks

    bfp 2 - baby born via c-section on 5.4.12 @ 37 weeks

    bfp 3 - blighted ovum/d&c on 4.13.13 @ 8 weeks

    bfp 4 - 3rd IUI, very late BFN with super low P, c/p

    bfp 5 - natural bfp while on lupron, baby born via RCS on 4.27.15 @ 39 weeks

    bfp 6 - surprise! baby born via RCS on 11.13.16 @ 38 weeks

    Well that's not always the case. DD took 1 month of NTNP and I'm on month 19 now. It sucks... But being educated about your body, temping/charting and realizing it can take a healthy couple with great timing 12 months... makes it a little easier. Don't complain after a few months. You have every right to be disappointed, but complaining about it on here will get you very little sympathy.
