redecorating LO's room

Did you wait until your LO was in a single bed or were they still in toddler beds before you redeorated? My girls just went into toddler beds and I want to redecorate but at the same time I kinda think we should wait until the go into single beds so we are not doing it again. I imagine they will go into single beds by the end of the summer or early Fall.

    We redid her room when we moved her to a toddler bed, but we didn't go with a theme just colors, and I am not redoing it until she is a teen, if she wants to. When we move her to a single we may take out some items, but I am not redoing all of it, seems like a waste of money IMO

    We have waited to re-decorate until we get his full bed.

    We waited to redecorate until DS moved to a twin bed. When he was in his toddler bed we used all the same crib bedding we already had.

    We r moving DS to a bigger room soon!! We are doing a big boy room. We aren't doing a theme. Just denim and brown with some vintage signs, and some of his paintings framed.
    Then once he's a teenager we can change it a lot easier. Hopefully we wont be living here. At that point he will start sleeping in a twin size bed. He's 26 months and almost 2 long for his crib we converted to a toddler bed.

    We will having a DD in may so hopefully that all happens soon!!!

    We moved DD to a full sized bed when I found out I was pregnant with DS. We got a new headboard, sheets and comforter set. I kept the curtains and all the accessories. I'm still waiting on DH to paint her room.

    We moved DD to a twin bed when I found out I was pg with #2.  We redecorated then but did so with very inexpensive (Ikea) bedding and furnishings.  My thinking was that she was still pretty young and in a few yrs we would do it again as her tastes and personality developed.

    I'm planning to redo when he's 3. So whatever he's sleeping in is irrelevant to me!
