Winter Garden Area

My husband and I are TTC and I am thinking of changing my doctor/ hospital.  Right now I am seeing dr. Oloufa at Health Central.  I like her, but I am just uncomfortable about the office.  Please don't take this the wrong way, but I feel it is kinda of ghetto.  I am also concerned about delivering at Health Central as I have heard horror stories.  Please recommend good OBGYN's in the area. I prefer a female doctor.  Also, is delivering at Health Central good?

    I have heard horror stories about HC as well. I am delivering at South Lake Hospital Womans Center in Clermont. So far I I really like the OB there and everyone is very nice.

     

    Winnie Palmer is also goo in downtown Orlando

    I second South Lake Hospital.  My dr was in the same building and was there for delivery as well.  Everyone was so nice to us and I had a great experience.  My doctor is a male but I've never had a female doctor so I can't compare.

    Im in Groveland so we are basically neighbors lol small world!

     

    I have Dr Sterm - he is also right there in the hospital. He is older so I feel comfortable and that he knows what he is doing. All the nurses are so lovely!

    Not sure how far Celebration is from you, but I go to Celebration OBGyN and delivered my son at Celebration Hospital and had an amazing experience. I love and feel very comfortable with all the doctors there. My doctor is Marcantel but Lemert delivered my son. The baby center there is beautiful! And after you get cleared after you have the baby they give you a month free membership with free child care at their gym! Hope you find an office you're comfortable with!

    I go to the Women's Center for Excellence in Clermont and I LOVE THEM! Been going there for the last 8 years and yes, they deliver at Winnie! They are a wonderful group of doctors, all women

    I cannot stand health central. I went to their ER twice since I've lived in the area, and it was kind of scary. Once, there was police removing someone from the ER for some reason. There are homeless people that hang out outside of the hospital. They were no help when I went there for mastitis. They kept me there for 4 hours to tell me I had a clogged duct, and to put warm compresses. What?! I will never go there for ANYTHING ever again.

    My OB/GYN is fantastic, Dr. Tortorella, his office is at Sand Lake Commons medical center, he delivers at Winnie Palmer. I have been going to him for a few years now and can honestly say he is he best doctor I've had in years. I used to go to a doctor that had in office in HC and I wasn't crazy about the area or the hospital. I would rather drive a little more to have a better experience.
