  I started with veggies, not cereal, with DD. sweet potato was her first food. DS has not started solids yet...

  How much did you give her? Portion wise I am so lost. Right now I use 3 tbs of formula and mix 1 tbs of oatmeal into it. LO usually eats all of that. If I add veggies, how much should I give her?

  I followed the directions on the box that I believe a serving size was 2 Tablesoons.  now I can eye it. For Stage 1 veggies, I give him the whole jar becasue its tiny.  If he truns his face I stpo but so far that has only happened once. We started solids a few weeks ago.

  We have been giving DD oatmeal for a couple of weeks now, however she has never come clsoe to finishing it...EVER. Now we are dealing with hard poo, so i ahave quit giving to her. She turns 6 months on Sunday, so I think I am going to leave cereals in the dust and just do veggies.
