I started by looking for OBGYN's through my insurance. Then I did reviews on the ones that were within proximity to my home. If the reviews were positive and their hours worked around my schedule I visited them.
I love my OB, but I'm not sure about the hospital she delivers at. My husband and I still need to tour the hospital and ask our deal breaking questions to make a final decision. An OB is just so personal to you as an individual, as well as your birth plan.
