Follow Up from "My Vag is a hot mess"

So I went to the Dr and they said I have a "Labia Defect" as a result from childbirth. I actually have to have surgery.   From those of you who didnt read my original post.  I had a big hole (the size of a quarter) on my labia.  They said that I tore in a spot no one ever tears so the Midwife probably didnt notice it.  The reason its a hole is becasue the top of the tear healed on its own.

She told me Id be out of work for about a week.  In order to get paid, I need to get a Dr's note..Im laughing at the idea of what that note is going to look like.

    Ugh, I'm sorry.  Hope it a simple procedure with a very easy recovery.

    Due to HIPAA (if you're in the US) your Dr can't even say in a note exactly what you're having done so don't worry about that.  It will be very generic and probably just say that she/he is treating you and you are not to return to work until X date.

    Thanks ladies, Unfortunately I'll be right back where I started.  6 weeks of sitz baths, stiches,withc hazel, and a sore vag!
