Catching a cold from your baby

This may be a silly question. Every time my son catches a small cold I get a nasty cold. Does this happen to other moms? My husband never seems to catch anything.

    Yes - I've caught both of my son's colds this winter.  My hubby has not. I think it has to do with I kiss his face all the time, wipe his nose, and breastfeed...all things my hubby does not (the first two a little, but not as much as me!)

    With every cold DS catches, both H and I catch a varying degree of it too.

    My son started daycare in November.  From Thansgiving through two weeks ago I caught every single cold my son brought home with him.  I went from Bronchitis to the flu to sinusitis in that timeframe.

    My wife was sick all of one time with a little sniffle....
