To put sizes on first birthday invites?
at first instinct i think YES DUH do not ASSUME she is getting gifts.
but my mom said people might appreciate it as they won't have to guess or ask...
so what are your thoughts? have you seen/done this? is it super tacky?
TIA!
Re: Is it tacky??? (1st bday question)
My vote is tacky.
For the most part, I would assume you are inviting people that know your daughter and have seen her fairly frequently. They will have some idea whether she is big for her age, average, or on the small side and buy accodingly if they choose to gift clothing. Or if they are that concerned they will ask and you can provide that information when they do.
And if they gift you a completly incorrect size that you can't use you can easily return the item or hold onto it if too large and she will grow into it. DD is a peanut and she has a lot of larger sized clothing hanging out in her closet and dresser waiting for her to finally reach that size.
