  • you can check IVF success rates for any clinic at SART.org.

Compare the live birth statistics across clinics to get a good picture of success, not just pg rates.

however, unfortunately, I do not think that specific records are kept on donor embryo cycles. But at the very bottom of the indiviudal clinical summary, there is section that tells you if the clinic offers donor embryo program.

but if a clinic has a good IVF success rate, I would feel comfortable doing a donor embryo cycle with them especially if the embryos are from their lab and they have a good success rate with frozen cycles.

  • My friend has used them for donor embryos and has used Dr Winslow. She has a blog at agreateryes.blogspot.com. Theres also a lot of discussion about FIRM on babycenter's Embryo Adoption forum.

She really likes them. They are incredibly affordable, and you only have to go there once for the transfer itself. Everything else can be done over the phone or with your local clinic.

I called them myself and had a major problem getting the donor coordinator "Nan" to return my phone calls, and it irritated me so bad I decided to move on. But my friend said thats typical and once you become a patient the response time is much better.

Also, the first cycle is a certain price (I want to say around $3500) and the second is even cheaper like 1500 or something. Don't quote me on that, but I am pretty sure that's what it is.

They get new embryos all the time and don't have a waiting list so those are some huge pluses. Good luck!
