got some pretty amazing news!

DD had her developmental specialist appointment today, he said she's way ahead, and would still be considered ahead had she been full term so we don't have to see him again for 9 whole months!! We were originally told she would see him every 3 months until she was 2 when she was discharged from the nicu in august, and she didn't have many milestones to be hitting the last 2 visits so we were expecting it to stay an every 3 month thing. He said we don't have to wait til her next appointment if we have any development concerns between now then, but it feels pretty amazing to know she's doing so well and it wasn't just my mommy pride and that we can take one specialist off our list of appointments for awhile. Now here's hoping the cardiologist gives us just as wonderful news next week lol.
