AW - 6mo adj high risk follow-up
We had our high risk clinic follow up this afternoon. DS is 9mo actual, 6mo adj. He's in the 11th percentile for weight and 41st for height for his ACTUAL age! The nurse couldn't believe how big he'd gotten since his last appt 3 months ago and the doctor was all "you can't even tell he was a preemie" (our ped has been saying that every month when she sees him for Synagis).
He also saw a PT and she said he's right on track developmentally for adj age, except for gross motor skills where she said he's probably only a month or two behind his actual age and he'll probably be crawling within a month.
We're thankful everyday because he was remarkably lucky and healthy for a 27 weeker. But days like today really drive that point home.
