Are you taking lessons with your LO? Ours start next month. So excited but also dreading being in a swimsuit.
Used to rock the itty bitty bikini. Definitely not appropriate anymore but that leaves me with no suit right now. What to buy? I'm not into one pieces and I tried a tankini and the top was too long (covered most of my bottoms which made me look like I didn't have bottoms on) - which was surprising because I'm tall. Anyway...what type of bathing suit do you wear? Our lessons will be at our gym.
I know some say, 'if you've got it, flaunt it', but does having it mean you've lost all your baby weight? I've got about 9lbs to go to achieve that. Tummy has no stretch marks and is decent but not totally flat. I never did public pools before baby so the thought of doing this now gives me anxiety. I'm super excited about making these memories with DD so I'm going to get over myself and just do it!!

Beautiful baby girl born 11.24.14
I wore a tankini last Saturday to his first swim lesson. Think we're going to skip this week as he gets over his sickness.
I've lost all my baby weight plus about 10 lbs (don't be jealous, most of it was b/c of stress and PPD). My body is by no means perfect, but I am 10 x more confident in my body now than before. Now I think "Why was I so self-conscious before?" Don't get me wrong, I need to hit the gym and tighten up, but I'm just not worried about it.
thanks for the link. I'll check it out!
Seriously! Could you imagine a nip slip at the pool? Good lord I think I'd die!!!!
