She arrived 4 weeks early! Born March 2nd at 8:17 am. She weighed in at 5lbs 12oz and 17 1/2 inches. She is totally healthy and breast feeding like a champ!
She was breech and I had developed Cholestasis, we had a c section scheduled for March 8th as the Cholestasis is dangerous for the baby and we opted not to try an induction and vaginal birth because of the breech.
We attempted an external version on Friday morning which was unsuccessful. My water broke the next morning at 4:15 am and the contractions were fast and furious. We got to the hospital at 6:50 am and I was already at 4 centimeters. She was delivered via c section at 8:17 am.
The c section wasn't nearly as horrible as I thought it would be. I was up and walking around that night and we went home Monday morning. I am only taking Motrin and feeling surprisingly good.
We had originally planned a home birth, obviously that changed with the breech and Cholestasis. I was just glad to have been able to go into labor naturally and experiencing that process, even the contractions.
She's so beautiful, we are just over the moon!! Good luck to all of you March mommies! :

I remember your itchy feet and hands question on the 3rd tri board. So glad you asked about that and followed up with your MW considering that you did, in fact, have Cholestasis.
Congrats on your healthy baby girl!
