Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Should I be worried?

DD is 5 months and today after about an hour or so nap she wouldn't take her second bottle, she just pushed it away and was a little cranky when I tried feeding her.  I put her in her swing and she was rubbing her eyes, as she does when shes tired and is now asleep. Otherwise she seems completely fine, I am wondering if it has anything to do with teething or a growth spurt, or something else?  TIA

Re: Should I be worried?

  • So many things it could be - I wouldn't worry or obsess about it unless she won't eat for four or more hours..

  • Ok, thanks! I guess if she doesn't eat for 4 or more hours, I should call her pedi.

  • I go through this about every other the day with my LO.  If he wakes up too soon from napping, I'll try to feed him, but he's too tired and needs to sleep longer.  Today he refused 2 bottles before he was rested enough to take one.  Oh and he was also a little constipated so he was probably uncomfortable.  Could be a lot of things.  When he gets hungry, he eats!
