Hello Lovely Ladies!
How are we all doing today? Lets hear it ladies - How is it going? Update us with something that is going on in your life or vent about something you want to get off your chest.
I see we have a lot of ladies getting their consults in at CCRM and I want to wish you and all the other ladies starting their cycling the best of luck with your plans and future cycling.
Congrats to the ladies posting on PAIF or who have gotten a positive beta but is waiting just a little longer to head over there.
Hugs to anyone stuck in between planning, waiting, testing and all the IF hell that comes with an extended IF history.
QOTW - Is anyone making any plans for a summer getaway?

Re: ~~Wednesday Roll Call~~
PAIF Response:
Tomorrow I have my appointment with the MFM drs and another scan. I am honestly freaking out over it. It has been a month since we were there and all I keep imagining is that the news won't be good. Everyone keeps asking me doesn't it feel great to feel the baby and of course since I haven't felt the baby yet - or at least don't think I have, I am freaking out and convinced something is wrong.
My vent is to those non IF women. If those women tell me once more to calm down because I am out of the first trimester, I am going to punch one of them. My loss with the triplets was well into the second trimester.
QOTW: G-d willing come the late summer, DH and I will have a little girl to tend to so no vacation plans for us.

I am sorry you are dealing with a heavy dose of nerves, but I completely understand why. Hang in there - we will all be thinking of you tomorrow! Hugs Rach!
Update: Yesterday was cd1! This cycle is happening! Aside from dealing with a pretty miserable visit from AF, I feel pretty good all the way around. I am confident that we are in good hands and if anyone is going to get us pregnant, it will be this clinic! If we are not successful, DH and I will be able to find some ease knowing we gave it our best by working with some of the best.
Q&A: My retrieval is in April and my transfer will be a couple of month later after CCS testing and Lupron Depot to supress the endo. We will be back in Denver around about June and four weddings are upon us already this summer. I am a bridesmaid in one. Hoping to be green with first tri sickness by summers end!!

I have been really busy this week at work (finally!) and am enjoying the days flying by. DH and I haven't reached a decision in regards to donor embryos, but we're still hashing it out. Meanwhile my cycles are still messed up. I'm CD 14 and no ovulation in sight. I guess I'm going to have to start temping in case I'm just missing my surge with OPKs. Arg!
Congrats to the BFPs and best wishes for healthy & successful pregnancies. Good luck to all those who have had consults and/or are planning upcoming cycles.
QOTW: DH asked me the other day what I wanted to do for our next trip in either late summer or fall so I guess I get to pick this time. Yay! I'm going to keep my eye on the Groupon travel deals to see if they have anything that looks good. I've never bought one of their trip packages before and so I'm not sure how I'll like it. I like being my own travel agent! If I can't find anything on Groupon then I'm thinking I'd like to go to Maui or Costa Rica.

I'm just chugging along with my stims - I go for another u/s & b/w tomorrow. We're leaving for NYC this weekend - ER will hopefully be Tues or Wed.. I'm hoping for Tues since I am already pretty uncomfortable. But none of this means much to me at this point since I don't have a problem getting eggs - the problem is getting 'good' eggs that make 'good' embryos.
No trips planned for us - since this is sort of an IVF vacation as it is - we won't have any money left - even more so if I end up furloughed b/c of sequestration.

hi all,
congrats to those who are on their way to PAIF and prayers for peace and calm for all the anxiety this process brings!
i started my lupron shots on monday and my monitoring is next wednesday. praying my ovaries will be calm.
i have had some great successes at work this last week including my students and i selected to present on capitol hill in washington d.c. in april.
if our ivf is successful, the trip would be one month after retrieval. at first i was super anxious about it, but then i just refused to let IF steal this opportunity. i am going with my collaborator on the trip and will just flat out tell him what is happening and ask for his help if necessary.
i hope i am doing the right thing.
qotd: no big plans yet. i am teaching a summer course, so i kind of feel like i would just like to take a low key driving vacation and go camp somewhere for a week. we'll see....
Praying unceasingly for a miracle. ALL welcome!
Just a quick update on me before I head into meetings, but our genetic probes are done, I've been on Lupron about a week, and I start stims next Tuesday. We had a long phone consult with the genetic testing lab, and I'm getting really anxious about all of the pieces of the puzzle that need to go well for this to work.
Since we're traveling out of state for the end of stims, ER, and transfer, I need to take two weeks off work, so that's my fun "vacation" for the year.
3/22 ER: 25R, 20M, 15F. 9 genetically normal, and 3 survived to Day 5
3/27 ET: transferred 1 embryo, beta 9dp5dt=163, 12dp5dt=639
4/25 1st ultrasound at 7 weeks = identical twins with heartbeats?!!!
PrettyAccountant - hope your MFM appointment goes well.
RockPaperLove - wishing you so much good luck with your new cycle.
DP - please keep us posted on your thoughts regarding donor embryos.
Liz - I'm glad you're a little less stressed than yesterday.
hootie - Good luck - you're getting so close!
lincoln - hope your suppression check goes well.

I'm ready to get this third IVF under way and feel like I have been waiting forever!!!! Just decided to start acupuncture this coming Monday. I did it a few years back for weight loss and infertility and quit after about 6 months. It gets pricey. But I figured I've never done it during a IVF cycle so I'm adding anything I can to get these ovaries to work with me here!
Glad to hear some great updates on you ladies and hoping for the best of those about to head over to PAIF. I'm sure if I ever make it that far the nerves will get to me and anxiety may never go away fully.
Qotd: we went to Hawaii in dec last year and Palm Springs in jan. due to work my slow times are more in the winter so we go away when we can in the summer but no big trips planned. My DH plays in a traveling baseball team and he goes to Phoenix AZ every year in oct for the mens World Series and I've never gone so I may go this year.
Yes, I was. We dealt with IF before having our twins, and we're so thankful for them!
I don't recognize you either. For those working on siblings that were never a part of this forum, SAIF is really the best board to post on. Most of the women on this board have had tremendous difficulty with TTC and this board is meant to be a community for those that have been posting a long time; not having long histories TTC per se. I know it can be confusing and we don't mean to be meanies, but this board is specifically for those with longstanding relationships with each other where we can have our own "old fogey rules" that may seem a bit difficult for newcomers to navigate.

OMG vent ahead...warning, LOL
Crazy week....
First last weekend DH's gram was in the hospital for dizziness they released her and she went to stay with my IL's.
Then there was a big dump of snow and I worked from home yesterday....got up crazzzzzzzzzzzy early today to avoid traffic and snow on the roads to work which there were none so I was an hour early this morning, LOL I cut my shower short and didn't wash my hair so I feel like a big old greaseball!!
Then, last night, my FIL had chest pain and was taken to the hospital where they determined he was having a heart attack. He's had an angiogram today but I haven't heard any news on him. ....I'm headed to my IL's house where my BIL and fiance are at right now to wait for some news.
UGH!! Hope he and gram are ok!!

I am hanging on by a thread, I thought the first six weeks were the hard part turns out I was fooled. This bleeding and gushing is sending me over the edge. I had a new SCH which gushed out yesterday and the one behind my membrane is still there. I am having cramps which won't go away and the docs are fighting about whether to put me back on Lovenox or not. I have an MFM appt Monday so we will see how things are then. Also the fetus keeps measuring 2-3 days behind which I know is normal but why can't I have one u/s where its on target or ahead so I can stop worrying?
I can't think of summer vacation but I would love to go to the cape and sit on the beach.

PAIF/SAIF welcome!
I'm a day late and a dollar short, but still checking in.
I have another new patient consult next week for my third opinion. We shall see whether this doc also doesn't want to mess with some other RE's frozen embryos. Gonna do an update post shortly with all the info, but that's the upshot.
QOTW: No, but we have a bunch of weddings to go to. Might try to schedule something around one of those.
Another day later here -- DH and I were both laid up with a nasty stomach bug that started Tuesday, finally back to work today (but still ridiculously tired).
PrettyAccountant - Hope that all went well with MFM today! And so sorry that you've been on edge about things. (((hugs)))
RPL - Tons of fabulous cycle vibes continuing your way!!!
DP - Sounds like some good travel options...can't wait to hear what you decide on!
Liz - MANY T&Ps for a great u/s tomorrow!!! (and, yes, I hope you're done those stupid betas...my clinic doesn't release me until 12 weeks and still does one every at each of my appts)
hootie - Glad that all's going well so far and hopign that you had a good appt today. Have a great time in NYC this weekend!
lincoln - Major congrats to you and your students -- that's so awesome! And, road trip/camping sounds perfect!
Purpleiris - FX that all the puzzle pieces land perfectly!
kflynn -- Yikes! I hope that things settle down and T&Ps that everyone is doing okay!
Luvboston - Oh no! You really need to catch a break! I hope those SCHs take a (safe) hike soon and that you get some reassuring news from MFM. I can only imagine how scary things have been...FX that LO continues to thrive. Huge (((hugs)))!
megs - I hope that your recovery continues well and you had a good appt today!
UPDATE: Not much new here other than my not-so-fun stomach bug experience!
QOTW: Most of my family is in Maine, so we head there for a visit each summer and DH's parents live on Cape Cod, so that is our other "ready made" summer vacation. DH and I would like to do a trip on our own (haven't been on one that hasn't involved family members since our honeymoon 3 years ago), but not sure if we'll be able to squeeze that in financially or time-wise.
