I haven't been around much, as I've been feeling like complete junk lately (thank you new baby). I try to keep updated on here, but it's been pretty slow.
How are you doing? This 2nd pregnancy is kicking my butt. I'm exhausted, feel weak, and can't seem to bring myself to eat much of anything...especially lean meats. I'm still trying to hang on to BF'ing for as long as I can, but have definitely seen a decrease in my supply. We started supplementing with formula at daycare so that we can make it to 1 year with at least a mix of BM and formula.
How old is LO? Caroline is just over 10 months.
Crawling? Standing? Cruising? Walking? She's crawling like normal now, instead of her initial army crawl. She's pulling up on everything she can, except for her crib, which is odd to me. She's kinda walking with her walker with assistance, but not cruising or taking steps on her own.
Bottle? Sippy? Or both? Both - she gets water in her sippy during meals.
How many teeth? The tips of her first 2 teeth popped through this weekend on the bottom.
Favorite toys? She loves her Leapfrog Music Table, water bottles, cleaned out yogurt cups, her walker and the photo cubes that I bought her for Christmas.
Cutest habits? She waves at everyone. Kinda cute but also weird - she bangs her head on the mattress to put herself to sleep. She curls her toes around everything. The cutest is when she curls them up under her highchair.
Most annoying habits? She has to have someone sitting ON THE FLOOR with her when she's playing. It's not enough for her for us to sit on the couch while she plays. She doesn't even really pay attention to us, she just wants us on the floor.
Size clothes? Mostly 12 month clothes. She wears some 18 months occasionally, and we just roll them up.
Birthday plans? I think we'll do a rubber ducky first birthday for her with family and close friends at our house. I really need to get planning, and have gotten some ideas off of Pinterest. I'm just really lacking motivation now.
Anything else I missed?
How are you doing? I'm exhausted and lonely. DH has been working 7 days/week, sometimes multiple jobs/day.
How old is LO? He's one year old on Friday! Holy crap!
Crawling? Standing? Cruising? Walking? Crawling and cruising. He'll stand for a few seconds here or there before he realizes that he's standing.
Bottle? Sippy? Or both? He gets his half and half bottles (2) at daycare. He gets water and milk in a sippy any other time. He's still BF though when I'm with him.
How many teeth? 2, but I feel like we've been working on more for.ev.er!
Favorite toys? He loves balls. He loves to throw them and chase them around the house. We have Easter eggs (as described in my FFFC) in the living room, and he will toss them around for hours chasing them.
Cutest habits? His new babble sounds are adorable. He found his glottal consonants, and it often sounds like he's saying "Got your taco."
Most annoying habits? Throwing food. Ugh. And with such adamancy. The hitting and the slapping drive me bonkers, but when that little boy looks me in the eye and throws his dinner across the room, I think of a lot of not nice things!
Size clothes? He's been wearing 12 and 18 month clothes, but I think we're going to start to put away some of the 12 month clothes.
Birthday plans? We've postponed his party until the end of the month. It was the only date the whole family had open, so now it's going to be a combo birthday for 4 people (Micah shares his birthday with my brother, his party is 2 days after my dad's birthday and 2 weeks before my niece's birthday) and an Easter celebration. We ordered him a swing set and wanted slightly warmer weather anyway. It's going to be a monster theme, but nothing crazy, and nothing that big.
Anything else I missed? I miss you guys!

How are you doing? okay, feel overwhelmed with keeping up with housework, two kids and getting projects done before their party plus cleaning for their party.
How old is LO? 11.5 mo!
Crawling? Standing? Cruising? Walking? Crawling and cruising. Parker stands unassisted for a few seconds.
Bottle? Sippy? Or both? Sippy when playing and bottles for meals.
How many teeth? Logan has 7 and parker almost has #6 out.
Favorite toys? We keep slowly bringing out hand-me-downs and Christmas presents lol. But they are having fun with a star shape sorter, their crock pot and the activity garden.
Cutest habits? getting hugs, playing together and love climbing the steps together.
Most annoying habits? Logan bites and now parker is starting. In the tub L has a favorite duck they fight over. P stands up on their motorcycle and escape past our gates.
Size clothes? 12 mo
Birthday plans? Much bigger party then I had hoped. Cake smash photo shoot.

Most annoying habits? Can't leave the room without her crying. Someone have to stay with her or just bring her.

How are you doing? Eh, ok. I'm fighting a bad sinus infection right now, and it's currently kicking my behind. Feeling like a bad mother right now, because DS is a HIGH ENERGY child and usually, I'm right there with him, but today, I'm literally laying on the floor or couch, trying to keep him entertained, but all I want to do is sleep. Going to do that in about 2 minutes, actually, since he just went down for a nap!
How old is LO? Brandon is just a few days past 10 months.
Crawling? Standing? Cruising? Walking? He's been crawling/pulling up/cruising since 8 months old. He's a speed demon with those now. He can stand on his own for ~1 minute at a time, and he's started walking a few unassisted steps, but it's more like lunging for something; I think he's still just not confident that he can do it on his own. He's a total crazy man with his walking toys though; I cant slow him down! He also CLIMBS everything now!
Bottle? Sippy? Or both? Totally off bottles since 9 months. He gets his formula and water in straw cups. For some reason, he never seemed to get the hang of sippy cups, so I tried straw cups instead, and it clicked.
How many teeth? He cut his first 2 at 5 1/2 months, and had 6 teeth by 8 1/2 months. (4 middle upper, and 2 middle lower). He seemed to stall for a while (thank heavens!), but he's definitely working on some more again now.
Favorite toys? he LOVES balls! Also loves his LeapFrog My Own Laptop, some really cool soft blocks MIL got him, and an awesome "toolbox" of soft tools (Melissa & Doug, I think).
Cutest habits? He tilts his head and gives his shy smile to any pretty lady who talks to him! He's such a flirt! I also love that he says "whoa!" when he's all excited about something. Even better when he claps, squeals and screams "whoa!" all at once. lol!
Most annoying habits? He bangs his head on stuff! I mean, purposefully. He will be playing sometimes and then just lean back and keep bumping his head against the entertainment center, or his shelves of toys, or whatever! I swear he's going to give himself brain damage! And also, I can't get anything done!!!! He is a constant-attention child! I have to put him in the pack n play to run to the bathroom or to the kitchen to get a drink, etc, and he screams bloody murder. If I dont do that though, he will either A) try to climb anything in site or
follow my every footstep, whining because Im not picking him up or playing with him every second. Sigh...
Size clothes? He's been in 18 months since Christmas, but his crazy growth has slowed down, so I think he'll be able to stay in them until mid-April maybe. Then I'll have to change seasonally, anyway, so his late April- summer stuff will be in 24 months.
Birthday plans? Unfortunately, I have a very large family, so combined with DH's small family, 67 people/kids/toddlers have been invited to his birthday party [which will be held at Grammy & PopPop's house, since ours is a small townhouse].
(Well, they soon will be invited; his invitations have been ordered & should arrive here in the next few days). [By the way...Vistaprint has awesome prices!] I'm going to have to do 12 goody bags at the least, and probably more like 18 if they all come. We're doing a jungle/safari theme, since Brandon loves animals, and monkeys in particular. Decided I wont do a huge cake though. Instead, I'm making a small monkey smash cake for DS, and making "monkey" cupcakes (like these: https://www.yanowhatimean.com/archives/003115.php) for everyone instead. I'm excited; they're really cute! Also going to do bagel "snake" sandwiches like these: https://www.goodtoknow.co.uk/recipes/521897/annabel-karmels-bagel-snake. Other than that, the rest is easy, light munchies (fruit platter, veggie platter, pasta salad, salsa/guac & chips, etc) that will just have cute/cheesy "animal" names like "cheetah cheese & crackers" etc.
Still here, not as often as I would like though. Trying so hard to balance work, DH, and DD that sometimes it feels that I'm about to fall off the merry go round that just keeps speeding up and slowing down.
DD is 11 months, crawling, and standing on her knees. We don't have any teeth still and are trying sippy cups for water, but she prefers to try and drink from a regular cup. Go figure.
One of the cutest things she does is get excited when she sees a camera. DD is just grinning and laughing away. She is a total hambone. I can't think of any annoying habits she has right now.
She wears 9 months and 12 month clothes, her favorite toys are her puzzle blocks, the ballapalooza, and her jumperoo. The girl loves to jump. We are doing a cookie monster themed birthday party the Saturday before Easter.

How are you doing? Emotional. I just can't believe my baby is almost one years old. This time last year, I was already on bed rest, just praying to myself just a few more days/weeks. Keep cooking and now it's almost a year later.
How old is LO?11.5 months
Crawling? yes Standing? yes Cruising? yes around furniture Walking? She took her first few steps on Friday and now she is trying to take more.

How are you doing? It's been 10 months and I still have not become a morning person. I just wish I could sleep in till noon on the weekends like I use to LOL. Other then just feeling tired, I'm actually doing ok. :-)
How old is LO? She is a little over 10 months
Crawling? Yes Standing? While holding on to things, but not by herself Cruising? Not really - although she just started using her push toy by herself. She can take a few unassisted steps while pushing the toy. Walking? No
Bottle? Sippy? Or both? Both, but mostly still bottle - but she gets a sippy with water at "snack time" and then a sippy with formula at dinner.
How many teeth? She's had 6 since 8mo old and then they just stopped coming in, however she munches on her fingers ALL the time so I know she is working on more - perhaps her molars from where I can tell she is gnawing.
Favorite toys? She has this "house" that she loves to crawl in and out of the door and go get the mail from the mailbox. She is starting to like her "my pal violet" dog as well. But really she likes anything she's not suppose to have or the dog's toys.
Cutest habits? I love when there is something soft like a blanket around how she cuddles and rubs her face on it. Or how every morning when she wakes up and I get her out of the crib, she has to wave to different things in her room..it's like a ritual.
Most annoying habits? Lately she cries for no reason - basically being cranky where the littlest things set her off. She was never like this so it's kind of a little annoying :-)
Size clothes? 12 mos but definitely in 18mos very soon.
Birthday plans? Don't ask - between mostly immediate family and our "circle of friends" I sent out 26 invitations which equates to 76 people...yikes! So we are having it at a fire hall and it's going to be sesame street themed.

Crawling? Standing? Cruising? Walking? Not QUITE crawling. On all 4's, rocking, and scooting. He walks with assistance, and loves hanging onto the couch.
Bottle? Sippy? Or both? Mostly bottle, but am switching to sippy more often.
How many teeth? 2.5 teeth.
Favorite toys? Sophie the giraffee. He has a minature sock monkey that he loves, and his board puzzle..mostly because he can bang on it and make noise.
Cutest habits? He loves giving full mouth open kisses. Melts my heart.
Most annoying habits? He's starting to get clingy to me. Makes his dad mad, and feel like he doesn't like him as much as me, but I secretly love it....even though I encourage him to to daddy. And he's starting to cry when I leave the room.
Size clothes? 24m - we've been in them since Christmas. Yup - he's a BIG boy...about 30lbs now...weighes more than my sister's 3yr old
Birthday plans? We are having close family (about 20) over to celebrate. We're doing a little monster theme. Smash cake!

Well put. It is hard keeping up with everything. And our party is on the same day! It looks like a lot of parties are going to be that weekend!
I hear you on being emotional about the one year mark. I wasn't on bed rest, but I had a surprise delivery and an awful 9 days (which I know isn't very much) with LO in the NICU. I think back a year ago, and it was the worst week of my life. I'm so happy that things are better now though. It's truly a celebration of how far everyone has come!
That's a bummer. Are you able to nurse at all now? And I forgot about books! My LO loves his books! We had to build him his own bookshelf type thing in our living room fireplace (old gas one that doesn't work anymore) to keep all of his books that he likes to play with.
We're having the same problem with finding time for the two of us. When I leave in the morning, I "jokingly" say "See you in two weeks," but the reality is that's probably the next time we'll get any time to sit together and talk. I hope you guys find time together soon.
Also, my LO is obsessed with remote controls, too. It's the only way I can change his diaper anymore. I give him the ceiling fan remote. It amazes me that he knows that the TV remote and ceiling remote work two different devices. It probably shouldn't though!
Yeah. I'm not a fan of 6am wake ups on Saturday or Sunday. Go back to bed, kid! And Micah also loves to smash his blankets in his face! I wish he would wave to things though!
Yeah, open mouth kisses are awesome. The leftover slobber ensures that one part of my face doesn't have makeup on it though! And he grabs my hair when he goes in for the kiss and forgets to let go! Ouch!
That's impressive that your daycare was able to wean him from the bottle! And Micah has also become obsessed with throwing things. It's cute at playtime and bathtime, but super annoying at dinner time! And Micah very rarely lays his head on my chest (he has to be not feeling well), but it melts my heart when he actually does. Oh, and we're still waking several times at night. Ugh!

How are you doing? Overall fine, busy with work but seem to have finally gotten a routine going on the weekdays with before and after DC stuff.
How old is LO? 10.5 months
Crawling? Standing? Cruising? Walking? Crawling, cruising, over the last week started letting go to stand alone and takes a couple steps at a time. She is not steady at all but she just thinks she can take off walking when she can't. Daredevil.
Bottle? Sippy? Or both? Formula still in bottles and water in the sippy.
How many teeth? 2 bottom but 4 are coming in very slowly.
Favorite toys? a popping car that she pushes all around the house, the remote control and my phone

Birthday plans? Yes, inviting about 40 people. It's on April 20th and having it at IL's neighborhood clubhouse. Purple and butterflies is the theme, having BBQ catered, and there are some lakes there so we are telling everyone to bring their fishing poles. Most all our friends and family fish.

How are you doing? Ehh- I guess I'm hanging in there. Totally head over heels in love with DD and DS. I am sooo exhausted. DS is not really a great sleeper, and we are working on it...

Crawling? Standing? Cruising? Walking? None of the above really... DS does an army crawl, and can pull to his knees. DD rolls around , however she is also being treated for Torticollis and is now getting a collar, so they told us to expect some minor delays... We are working with them.

How many teeth? DS has 8 teeth and is cutting a molor, DD has her two middle bottom teeth.
