Hi ladies! I'll be in Columbus for a conference this weekend and will hopefully have some time for running around... looking for some vintage items to upcycle for the nursery and maybe some great deals on baby stuff. I noticed there are several Goodwill stores in Columbus and I'm wondering if there is a "best" one to shop at? Or another great thrift store you'd recommend? I love secondhand stores!
Thanks in advance!
Re: Anyone Like to Thrift Shop?
There is Once Upon a Child, its hit or miss. Depending on the area you may find more unique shops/boutiques. Off top my head I can't recall the name, but in grandview there is one.
As for Goodwill stores my experience has been that the more run down the area the better items you find. I have found great stuff at Morse Rd. Salvation army on Indianola ave.
Good luck
Not sure what area you'll be in or how far you want to drive, but I like to go to the Antique Mall out off Brice Road. They have some awesome vintage items that I've gotten from there for pretty decent prices. I've gotten some really great things there to add to my house decor - I'd recommend giving it a shot! It's called Heritage Square Antique Mall.Kind of in the ghetto but during the day you should be fine.
