  I like Edgar.  Edison is too trendy for my tastes, but still nice.

  If I am not mistaken I asked what everyone thought about those two names not which one you prefer more. And I dont see Thomas on the list. But thanks anyways.

  Just because of the way you clarified "Edison would be for a boy" does that mean Edgar would be for a girl?

  I think they're both good names for boys, but Edgar is an awful girl's name.

   I should have clarified that Edgar would be for a boy as well. I have a friend who named her daughter Edison but later changed the spelling to Adyson.
