TMI...diarrhea?

So, two of my girlfriends and my mom told me that they had diarrhea right before going into labor. Today, I've been in and out of the bathroom with diarrhea. I'm just wondering how many moms have experienced this? I'm not sure if it's a sign or I am just not feeling well.

I have had it with all 3 pregnancies right before labor but I also had it last weekend and nothing.

i experienced this with both my previous pregnancies also, my doctor said it was the bodies way of "cleansing" i guess you would say to prepare for delivery

I'm sure there's some truth to it, but, unfortunately, it can start up to 2 weeks before labor or it could just be diarrhea for no reason whatsoever. I had my own bout of it last week. This week I'm back to normal and still pregnant. Hope it's something for you, though.

I've had it on and off for a couple weeks now. Had it really bad Monday night into Tuesday and thought it was the real deal, but turns out I just somehow caught the Norovirus. I'd much rather it was labor than being sick.

I had a terrible case of it 2 nights ago waking up every hour to run to the bathroom, and on the next day it was as nothing had happened... I'm still here 5 days overdue.....
