Milestones/ questions/ vents? It's been a pretty good week. I am finally getting over my cold and excited to jump into 2nd tri.
QOTW: What was the last thing you bought for yourself? FI just convinced my to buy myself a really expensive pair of black dress pants from express to wear to funerals and such. I'm feeling guilty about it, because I don't have a lot of extra cash, but I'm hoping these pants will last me through many funerals and maybe even a job interview in a few years when I finish school.
Bonus: Bump Pic! Feeling so guilty that I haven't started taking bump pics yet, but really I've got nothing to show.

I'm SO happy -- today I had an appointment and got to hear the heartbeat for the first time! So my pregnancy is finally confirmed (we had no u/s before). We will start to finally tell people very soon. And everything is FINALLY real. And my symptoms are slowly improving.
QOTW: What was the last thing you bought for yourself?
I have no clue. That is so sad! I mail ordered some clothes a few months ago. That's all I can really think of. Other than the meals I buy for myself all of the time now that I'm pregnant and hate cooking with m/s (and DH has been out of town a lot).

I might be sort of starting to get something, though it's definitely 99% bloat still. So I should start these soon.

My A/S is march 25th. Going for regular OB here in about an hour.
I just bought a couple maternity tanks on ON for our Mexico trip in 2 weeks.

Milestones/ questions/ vents? 35/35! Crazy! My friend is having a C-section today and they are predicting an 11 pound baby. I'll be interested to see how accurate that is.
QOTW: What was the last thing you bought for yourself? I had to buy a few larger sweaters last week because my bump is getting so big. Hooray for the Gap outlet
Nope, she's still hanging in there! A bit snowed in though I think.
On the flip side, I hope you don't need them for any funerals!
Black pants are pretty useful though so you should get a lot of wear out of them.

JK. you look great! my bump is huge - I'll post later. Wanted to add that nice black Express pants are prob a good purchase - they really can last forever! I bought some probably 10 years ago, and I just wore them to a funeral this past summer. I was shocked that they were still cute and in style, lol.

well the purchase was prompted by a lack of cold weather funeral garb that I didn't realize until the morning of last weekend. My mom drags hazel and I to a surprising number of funerals. She knows a lot of old people and apparently hazel brings joy to the mourning ::shrug:: I have a weird mom.
