John 16:21
When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world.
I don't even own a bible but I came across this bible verse online and found it very touching. Especially with the anxiety of labor gaining momentum as we're getting closer to the due dates, I thought I would share.
Re: Encouragement
Although far from religious myself, some religious text offer a great deal of encouragement and peace of mind sometimes.
Though I do know a few women who laugh when someone says you forget the pain of childbirth. I figure I would keep the pain in memory as a badge of honor. If I went through that then I can go through almost anything.
