SO CLOSE to not getting any stretch marks

Just when I thought I was getting away with only super light stretch marks on my boobs, I was itching my belly before taking a bath and thought, huh, that feels like a stretch mark. Look in the mirror, and, not only was it a stretch mark, it's monstrous, dark purple stretch marks radiating from both sides of my belly button! Ah! I guess that's what happens when my fundal height measurement goes from 34 to 37 in a week!

    I'm nervous it will happen soon for me.  I made it through 1 pregnancy stretchmark free but I really don't think it's going to happen this time.  Some days my skin feels sooooo tight.  My MIL is big into essential oils and she brought me over lavendar oil which she swears will help me not get them lol.  I'm willing to try anything, so I've been slathering down with that and so far, so good, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

    It looks like my lower belly has been attacked by an angry tiger...  I had zero stretch marks one day, and the next its like a slasher film!

    So far so good for me but I had a friend who got them at 39 WEEKS AND 5 DAYS!  She gave birth 3 days later.  If that happens to me I'm going to be pissed, haha.

    I didn't get them until after I had DS1 but today I felt under my belly and sure enough they are all under there. Oh well....I guess it is all part of the package. I will just wear them with pride.

    Mine too.  And now that I've given birth, the stretch marks look even scarier!

    Yea..., last pregnancy I didn't think I had any.... They just all hid below my belly button and under my boobs... They didn't hide this time, they all ALL OVER the front of my belly!

    I read somewhere that stretch marks are like tiger stripes that a woman has earned. I say wear them proudly...it means you were able to carry a baby and you've earned every single last one of them! Aside from the fact that they DO fade! Mobile smile.

    I'm holding on for dear life but think its coming... The skin around my belly button is looking real thin and I think I can see a shadow of little waves forming. Booooooo! I'm putting on Vit E oil and then moisturizing cream 2x a day now instead of just cream every other day, in hopes of preventing it.

     Same for me. I only had a couple from last pregnancy right around my belly button (bc I had a belly button ring in for the first few months) but this time they cover my entire belly. They are very tender too. After looking at pictures I realized my girl belly last time was smaller and more in my hips and my boy belly this time is way out in front so that may explain why.

    I made it to 39 weeks 2 days with nothing...then they appeared under my belly button. I'm guessing it's from LO dropping lower and stretching that skin so quickly and suddenly. Almost made it the whole way too...ah well...
