N had a curly Mullet but DH and I trimmed the back. I haven't gone anywhere near the front though. It loos much better since we trimmed the back and I just adore her curls!
E's mullet is straight and thin. I can't do anything with it. It doesn't look so obvious if I pull the hair on top of her head into a little pigtail, but lately, those last all of two seconds.
I can put her mullet into a ponytail, but the hair on top is nowhere near long enough to reach. Right now, she will just have to be that messy-looking kid.
DD was rocking the mullet, but it wasn't a cute one or a curly one like some of the other little ladies on here have. It was actually starting to look like a rat tail (remember these?!)
Now I am going to go and cross my fingers that one of the moms on here PIPs her own mullet.
I finally caved a couple weeks ago & got Em's mullet cut off. Her hair not only looks cleaner now but it looks thicker as well. Even though she still gets crazy static hair, it looks so much nicer now. She's in a wedding in May & I'm not sure if she'll get another haircut before then.
Alastair was sporting a mullet til about 30 minutes ago. We had it cut today, he just looked like an orphan.
We walked out of the kids' hairdresser's and did a first choice place. The kids' place was horribly unfriendly. The chain place was terrific and so nice!
DS pretty much has a mullet/rat tail! I have been wanting to cut his hair for a few months and everyone tells me he doesn't need it or scares me that he'll freak out at the baby hair salon! His hair is kind of long next to his ears, but that can be brushed back. It's the very back of his hair that is long, but it usually works into a little curl and doesn't look so shaggy.
We got DD's hair cut. It was a reverse mullet, long on the sides and short in the back. And it is curly. The curls were getting so hard to comb through and cutting just a small amount off has made doing her hair SO much easier. I was a little nervous but kept reminding myself that it is just hair!
DD is still rocking hers. It's wavy in the back after we wash it, but straightens out during the night. I hate to cut it since we've had issues growing it since she was pulling it out.
We trimmed the back, but it's growing back quickly. I'm just hoping it gets think enough to put a barrette in it soon. It's starting to hang into her eyes and looks scraggly.
Re: Baby Mullets
H definitely is rocking a mullet. After we wash her hair, it gets curly and is super cute, but the next morning it's flat and mullet-esque.
I'm not ready for her first haircut though. We'll cut it eventually.
