DH means well...

DH: Since I have to go on a work trip in July and a fun trip in September, do you want to go away on a girls weekend in August? That's your birthday month.

Me: Leave my one month old baby alone with you for a whole weekend to hang with the girls? (Seriously?????) Ummm....no thank you.BUT maybe this time next year I'll take you up on that offer....Wink

I really do think it was sweet of him to offer but I really can't imagine wanting to leave my baby for a whole weekend for no real reason that early.

    Completely understandable!  DH thought we should leave DD when she is three months old with his mom while we are at a wedding in another state.  I told him to figure out how DD can come because I'm not leaving the state without my baby.

    2 1/2.
