Another potty training question!

I keep hearing people recommend 3 day potty training. In my search I've found 2 different versions of 3 day and am wondering which one they are referring to:

Has anybody used one of the above on a "stubborn toddler" with great results or horrible results? I don't want to spend more money if it's not going to work.

I've read a few books and am using the techniques, but we seem to be going backwards, although she says she doesn't want to go back to diapers and goes in the potty at least once a day!

    I did the first method, although I didn't buy the ebook, I simply read information online.  

    Good luck!  We've been potty trained for almost two months now and while we are having a slight regression right now, it's awesome to be diaper free!  Except for sleeping of course, that comes with time.

    I have not read any books.  What worked for us was being naked all weekend except nap and bedtime.  He would start to pee and then stop and run to the bathroom.  This was after he had gone to the potty a couple of time.  After he got it and we trained at home for away, we moved on to school.  First time did not work at all.  Eventhough he is one of the youngest, none of the other boys were using the potty and he was scaried.  We tried again about 5 weeks later (last week) and he is doing get at school in his pull-ups.  He could probably move to underwear at school too, but he reallu likes the pull-ups so we are staying with that for now.
