Everything's happening so quickly now!

I can't believe I will be meeting my son sometime in the next couple days! I have been in L&D since my appointment Monday afternoon due to my blood pressure being high. We've been keeping an eye on it for about a month, but it just keeps creeping up! When I got to L&D it was 163/109 eeek! I was admitted and watched, but it just wasn't going down enough so now I am in process of being induced!

I was scheduled to be induced originally on Monday the 11th. These last few hours are a blur as they've moved me to the birthing rooms and started me with a foley bulb (and of course they're just as uncomfortable as people make them out to be lol) and now I am to sleep and start pictocin in the morning.

How am I suppose to sleep?! I'm so nervous, excited, overwhelmed AHHH! But it is all good feelings! My plan is to stay as positive as I can through everything! I'm a FTM so of course this is all new to me, and that makes it that much worse lol! I guess I just can't believe it's really happening now. Well I suppose I should try for some sleep, just had to share my nervous excitement to all of you

Hope all is going well!!! Good luck to you and your little one and just keep in mind "this too shall pass" you'll be home with your bundle of joy before you know it!
