DD is 4 months old and has finally found her thumb... I am trying to break her of her pacifier use now, but am having a hard time. I don't want to go the CIO route if possible... but I don't know what to do. I try to nurse her to sleep, but she wakes up as soon as she goes in her crib. Any suggestions?
TIA ladies!
Re: Pacifier users?
Stop listening to your sister. A four month old using a paci is completely fine. My lo is almost 6 months and uses hers mostly in the carseat or at night. Unless she starts using it around the clock, I have no problems letting her use it at night for comfort until she's around a year.
Her baby may have been like me, not very fond of binkys. I would suck 2 or 3 times and then spit it out. Obviously I don't remember, but I've been told this my whole life. Some babies like pacifiers/nook/binky (whatever you call it lol) and some aren't as interested.
